I had both Samantha and Jack installed on the Nuvi 2597 and it offered the update for both on Webupdater. On the last update some users didn't get the option to update other voices on their device. Used Webupdater myself at that time and got same options as above. Here's the latest for English language voices: The most recent previous English language updates to TTS3 voices occurred way back on 9/29/2014.

Yes, Jack and Samantha updated to 2.30 on 6/29/2016 with pronunciation improvements. In other words, if you want to plan a route, you MUST tether the GPS to the computer for Basecamp to “see” the map. For the most part, users are left to figure out things on their own through trial and error or trolling message boards for help from fellow users. Optimize (and here I mean fix) your existing products before releasing new ones. It could be great with a little effort at improving the Search function and mapping tools.

Instead of reinventing the updating software every 20 months, how about sticking with one platform and improving on it or, even better, leaving well enough alone.

The two voices my 57LM has is Samantha or Michelle. I think she retired or got a bad throat from saying "Recalculating" It's been reported several times that the software update choices from Garmin will only update an existing voice on your device.
