Vba screen updating off excel prison cell mate dating
I think the syntax was somthing like "windows.pane=off" Thanks in advance.
Christian Mark - you just beat me to it but as a fellow Celt any chance you could help me out with a fairly tricky problem ??
When I started reading more into improving the efficiency of your code I understood what it was for but how much of an effect does Turning off screen updating will only make a difference to execution time if the code interacts with Excel in a way that causes changes to the screen content.
Screen Updating = False start Time = Time Worksheets("Sheet1"). Most of the time, at the beginning of my code I turn off the screen updating and then at the end I go back to the original setting and I turn the screen updating on.How can you turn off the flashing screen during macro execution ?I have a VB app that neds to read a variable entered by a user, access an Access database and read some information from it based on the entered variable. It then needs to load a report and put the information on the reports controls.
I have changed it slightly so it loops 10,000 times and I execute it 10 times for sample size.
